NÜRNBERGER-SÜSS silver violin bow, replaced frog | Metzler Violins
August Nurnberger-Suess (1875-1944) assisted his grandfather, bow maker Johann Christian Suess (1829-1900) in Markneukirchen for the last five years of his life and later emigrated to the United States of America in 1912. He settled in Novato, California and continued the family tradition.
This fine stick no longer has the original frog, and the price has therefore been greatly reduced.
