LAURA BALES 4/4 violin, Strasbourg, France, 2000 | Metzler Violins

Laura Balès trained at "La Scuola di Liuteria di Parma" where she studied with Renato Scrollavezza and his daughter Elisa, internationally renowned teachers and luthiers.

In 2002, Balès did adjustments and repairs at the Metzler Violin Shop. In 2004, she made and varnished violins at the Atelier de Lutherie de Nolwenn Gueneuc in Brest, France. Since 2011, Balès has been working as a full-time luthier.
