Boston based violin maker Christopher White has been building instruments for more than thirty five years. He studied double bass at Carnegie - Mellon University and violin making under Raymond Melanson at The North Bennet Street School in Boston, Massachusetts. White gained experience in the workshops of William Monical and Samuel Zygmuntowicz before opening his own studio in 1990. He is a member of The American Federation of Violin & Bow Makers and is a VSA silver medalist.
